Litigation Paralegal - New York

Milberg LLP is looking for an experienced litigation paralegal.  The paralegal will be responsible for managing class action and complex litigation matters and assisting lawyers in all phases of the litigation process, from the initial filing period through the trial, post-trial, and appeal.

Requirements and Qualifications:
The key tasks, duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

Prepare for and provide support during depositions, trials, and briefing, including cite-checking and blue-booking briefs, reviewing court papers for accuracy before final submission.  Familiarity with e-discovery rules and procedures, and electronic filings.  Organize, manage and maintain case discovery materials; index and organize document productions. Oversee the maintenance of correspondence and court papers; act as liaison with the Records Department and Managing Attorney's Office.  Assist with research, including pulling cases and conducting factual research, using both Lexis and Westlaw.  Prepare monthly time and expense reports.  A Bachelor's degree, plus 2-4 years of litigation experience is required.
