(New York) Judge Lucy Koh of the United States District Court, Northern District of California, has appointed Milberg partner Jeff Westerman to the Executive Committee in a consolidated class action lawsuit against Apple and several mobile advertising networks and analytic service providers. The lawsuit, In re: iPhone Application Litigation, No. 10-085878 (N.D. Cal.) alleges that applications for iPhones and iPads transmitted users’ personal information to advertising networks without the customers’ consent.
