New York. Milberg LLP is pleased to announce that Executive Committee member Michael Spencer has qualified for admission to the Ontario bar in June.  Over the past few years, Mr. Spencer has led the firm's effort to explore opportunities in the Canadian market in light of developments in the country's securities laws, and has been working closely with the Toronto-based law firm Kim Orr Barristers PC.

"We are very pleased that Michael has gone to such lengths to be admitted in Canada and we look forward to his efforts leading to more landmark cases in both countries," said Sanford P. Dumain, chairman of the firm's Executive Committee.

Mr. Spencer will continue to be based in New York City, working full-time at Milberg and exploring opportunities in both class action and complex litigation in Canada.
